About The Artist
Karen Polley has lived and worked in Alaska since 1968. Since retirement she spends as much time as she can in Pelican, Alaska. She has always had a passion for unique jewelry and semi-precious stones.
Over the years she has collected jewelry made from various natural materials including agates, garnets, pearls and amber. She created Stone Soup Alaska Designs after becoming interested in beading and finding excellent sources of polished, drilled and cut stones. Her experience as a crafter and quilter has given her an eye for color and form that makes Stone Soup Alaska Designs unique.
